Wildfire Risk Department OverviewThe Wildfire Risk Organization is responsible for assisting the company to act decisively and transparently to prevent fires of consequence from being caused by our equipment.
The organization will develop objectives to 1) prevent fires of consequence originating from our equipment; 2) meet all commitments outlined in our 2021 Wildfire Mitigation Plan; 3) continue to foster trusted relationships with key stakeholders; and 4) Develop consistent processes and work standards through the implementation of the Lean Operating System for sustainable operations going into 2022 and beyond.
Position SummaryThe position is a member of the Vegetation Management Work Verification Team within the Vegetation Management (VM) program in the Community Wildfire Safety Program.
The Senior Business Analyst position requires significant coordination with several stakeholders across the organization, as well as other lines of business.
The position requires a strong ability to work effectively across organizational boundaries and engage with a diverse set of stakeholders.
This position often requires thorough analysis on complex data models, and creation of customized reports which depict findings and recommendations in clear concise presentations.
Position Location Flexible within the PG&E Service Territory.
Job ResponsibilitiesMaintain onboarding and training documentation for VM Work VerificationMaintain daily huddle data and action item tracker for VM Work VerificationAn analyst is responsible for managing the various analytical projects that may involve work verification data, forecasting and special projects.
These projects require detailed knowledge of VM technologyAbility to create reports from inspection dataAbility to pull reports from Arc GIS Online, analyze the report for important data points, compare against previous data points for delta reporting and make this information available for staffThe analyst must be able to effectively communicate procedures for use of VM applications to field personnel, resolve user problemsMaintain an area equipment inventory and facilitate the completion of timely and accurate reportsSupport and ensure the quality of contracted data management team members QualificationsMinimum:
Bachelor of Science in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or related discipline or equivalent work experience requiredJob-related experience, 4 years Desired:
Excellent organizational, prioritization and multi-tasking skillsAdaptable to changing business conditions and ambiguityExperience responding to legal and regulatory data requestsProficiency in Microsoft Office, Project, Visio or similar software Intermediate to advanced proficiency with MS Office toolsExperience with MS SQL and Access; including ability to extract and summarize data for reporting purposes.
Requires understanding of VM databases, table relationships, and ability to mine dataTypically receives general instructions on new assignments or projects.
Receives little instruction on recurring assignmentsAbility to quickly learn the mechanics of the VM Applications and become VM's subject matter expert on the VM Applications' reports and functionsBasic knowledge of vegetation management concepts, practices, and methodsCreative problem skills to develop solutionsQualitative and quantitative analytical skills to justify any business changesStrong presentation and communication skills to deliver findings and recommendations to various levels of managementKnowledge and understanding of key drivers affecting business resultsStrong project management knowledge and skills to lead project teamsBackground in ArcCollector, ESRI software, GIS and Vegetation Management and Project Management database.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
